A Community Building Project of the Los Alamos Chamber of CommerceThe Assets in Action program of the Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce uses the Search Institute's 40 Developmental Assets approach in a project to educate and engage the community around the common goal of building, “Healthy Communities, Healthy Youth.”
The Search Institute’s 40 Developmental Assets are concrete, common sense, positive experiences and qualities essential to raising successful young people. These assets have the power during critical adolescent years to influence choices young people make and help them become caring, responsible adults.

What is your "Spark" and are you willing to teach it to others? Do you like baking, computers photography, plants or science? Can you teach on the topics of holiday customs or traditions, military service or history?Assets In Action is looking for people that can be an Asset to the community by offering free presentations to school students, senior citizens or the community.
